Sweeney Todd

There was a wondrous fellow
Who now goes by "Sweeney Todd"
He used to be a gentleman
He wasn't always odd

Revenge and rage made him strange
Hate now consumes his life
The hate he feels toward that one man
The man who took his wife

Now Todd, he wants revenge
To kill the man he hates
The trouble is he wants him now
The killing cannot wait

He'll practice on some other men
To get the cut just right
The time is drawing nearer
He'll execute tonight

The man comes in the shop
And asks Todd for a shave
Todd is ready to begin
"The closest he ever gave"

He opens up the razor
It's gleaming in the light
He puts it to the Judge's throat
And hears a scream of fright

Now Todd is filled with anger
He rushes to the sound
He winds up in the eerie cellar
Where Miss Lovett's to be found

Nothing hurt or harmed her
She was just startled when he came
Now Todd is getting irritated
And throws her in the flames

Todd walks over to the bodies
Of the victims that he's slain
He sees the woman that he loved
And his heart is filled with pain

A boy that knew his crimes
Came down to set things right
He took the blade to Todd's bare throat
And killed poor Todd that night

I really liked this movie, and I was really bored, so I decided to try to write a poem about it (not that good, I know) =P
