New Beginnings

No more getting angry

lets not get annoyed.

It's no good all the shouting,

it create's far too much noise

It will take time for us to get back to normal,

to how it used to be.

A time when I was still loving you

and you were always there for me.

A time when we would kiss and hug

and nothing really bothered us.

Our time has come for new beginnings

and this new love means having trust.

We love each other more now

than we did just yesterday.

And I know this new found love

will grow more and more each day.

We've started the smile's to each other

and we are learning to touch again.

Lets sit and do nothing but talk,

and to feel and touch each other's pain

No matter what problem's we face

we will let nothing drive us apart.

When we say I Love You

let us truely mean it from the bottom of our heart.

What a lovely poem that illustrates the futility of anger when what really matters is recapturing the love that once existed between two people. A nice structure where each verse builds upon the one before, adding more of what is special about a loving relationship, recognising that it will not happen immediately, yet that the rewards are many and lead to an ending of everlasting love.

Wow!! This was fantastic, I LOVED it!!! How you calmed your love down and explained that these storms of anger can actually pull you apart when you can get closer.
yes, I agree with what you stated, shouting and being angry never solve anything, just makes things worse while it could have helpped you to amke this love stronger in the time you took to fight. Wonderful, I truely loved it!
