Oh, my only love be betrothed,
yet in my hand's a secrete rose,
while on my lip's a longing kiss,
and in my heart a forlorned bliss.
And with his eyes a moments hush,
as fingers long a fluttered tough.
Away he goes to take her hand,
loveless, alone, I'm left to stand.
Oh, my only love be so far,
yet in my breast's a single stir,
while still away he holds my love,
and gives my heart a gentle shove.

"Oh, my only love be so far,
yet in my breast's a single stir,
while still away he holds my love,
and gives my heart a gentle shove."
This was very sad and a great ending. It's always hard when one loses someone they held close and loved for a long while, sometimes letting go is the only option there is and yet life has to go on but the heart doesn't know logic and keeps living in the past. Very beautifully written.
