When rain falls..
thirsty parched earth
gulps slow first
then fills its bosom
lets water into rivulets.
Rivulets join streams
before big rivers swallow them
all trees bathe under showers
washes green
leaves appear sparkling.
Cuckoo finds new melody
rain showers wet lovers bosom
they find new ground
albeit slipping
delighted in rescuing other
thankful to rain God
giving stage for love to blossom.
