It's my last night,
My chance to say a final goodbye,
Earlier today we had a fight,
And you don't know that it's my last night here,
In a few short hours I'll be moving on,
To a new place,
With the blade in my unconscious body's hand,
You caused this,
Is what I am thinking as I walk up to your door,
I knock,
And you answer,
The snowdrift wind,
Stinging my cheeks,
I look at you through,
The dark hair,
That hangs over my bloodshot eyes,
Trying to hide,
My pain and suffering,
To make sure,
My last goodbye to you,
Goes with out,
Not one single tear,
You look down on me,
And glare,
You tell me that now is not a good time,
And you'll talk tomorrow,
I tell you,
I won't be here,
Tomorrow.
You look at me incredulously,
And say,
I don't understand,
What do you mean?
I tell you,
Not to fret,
That there's no need,
And that I'm here to say,
My final goodbyes.
And suddenly,
We are kissing,
Our lips moving feverishly,
You sweep me up,
Into your arms,
And carry me inside,
Kicking the door shut behind you.
You set me gently on your bed,
And slide your shirt off,
Over your head,
You kiss me gently now,
Up and down my neck,
You unbutton my shirt setting it aside...
The next morning,
You find me,
In the bathroom,
In the puddle of blood,
And ,
The razor,
Enclosed,
In my dead bodies hand,
A tragic end,
You say to yourself,
And then,
You fall to your knees.
