Only One More Day

If life was only but one more day,
there's so many things i would want to say.

I'd tell the ones I love that I care,
that I'll see you in the new world, when we get there.
I'd kiss and hug them all goodbye,
and tell them it's okay to cry;
to remember to live your life to the fullest,
live for Jah and fulfill His purpose.
Find joy in the little things, in every day.
Paradise is merely steps away...


...but most of all, I think I would
do something that I never could.
I'd tell you how you filled my heart and soul
with love and joy, and made me whole.
How much you made my heart rejoice,
and I'd say those words, with my final voice...

I'd whisper "I Love you", and your lips I'd kiss;
my last few moments, a memory of bliss.

    Wow, such a beautiful write.
    In your final hours you already know what you would say to the ones you love.
    I don't know what i would say it's so hard i mean i do know what to say but having it planned out is the worst and i don't even wanna know when my final hours is coming.
    What an awesome job you did here.

    A touching heartfelt write, every line and verse..I loved the last two lines

    congrats on the gold. I don't know what I'd do with my final hours ... people I love already know it ... hard to say really.

    Wow what a beautiful and heartfelt write. I so enjoyed reading. If it were my last day on earth I would observe my family like a video camera and capture every angle and moment of the day to keep with me for eternity. Thanks for sharing and congrats on the Gold well deserved. hugs Theresa
