No more

Why?
Why do you take me?
Make me, your little plaything?
Shoot me? pollute the,
environment so?
Nobody knows why, you decided
Your king of all,and as the trees fall,
You stand tall.
Like you've done something good,
But your wrong, kill the bird's song
Cage us, enrage us
Put us on stage thus..
Make you money.
Isn't it funny how,
You have a cow, when someone steals from you
Is it not true?
The things you do,aren't but the same?
Strap us down in your little game
Trap us round, to give you fame?
My fur.
Your wearing.
My home.
Your tearing!
Staring at me through metal bars!
How far from home am i?
You've yet to tell me why.
My way of life must die,
For your pleasure
Need to remeasure..
because
you are surely mistaken
your mind is shaken
what kind of fool do you take us for?
No more, we're almost all gone
spawning, less and less
look at the mess you've made
just so you can get paid
wading in your ignorance
take a prance, right back home
leave us here and let us roam
give back my pride, give back my throne.
savor what tiny bit of competence you have left,
in that little dome
and leave us the fuck alone.

I liked the anger here. And tigers have every reason to be angry. You describe so well how they are being exploited and their (as well as our own) world is being destroyed. Bravo. It read kind of like a rap song. Don't know if that was intended; but I think it makes a great rap song.

Great piece and thank you for entering it here in this contest! I love tigers. And your photo is magnificent! They are so gorgeous, it gives me chills to look at them. So powerful and magnificent are tigers!

wow! very convincing! [[not that i wasnt already convinced ]] there were a few gramatical mistakes, but they weren't extremely distracting. great poem! I think my favorite lines were
    "as the trees fall,
    You stand tall.
    Like you've done something good,
But your wrong, kill the bird's song"
    because they are so true

    good luck!

You're anger really shines in this write, and yet it shouts out to be heard and understood at the same time.
Well I understood and I say well done hear, you truly are a powerful voice for these poor animals.
Well done my friend thankyou very much for sharing this write with us.
    Goodluck, for the animals always.

First off, I really liked that. But you really should put it into stanza form and capitalize/punctuate and such. It would make it much more powerful. A few little typos, but otherwise--I could really feel your anger and your sympathy towards animals. I feel the same way as you. I've never understood why people go to zoos to see those poor tortured animals.
    Great write. Very inspirational.
