Teen Phantom, barely even there
Crawls on webs of lies
Broken and upset, her bones
are knives against her skin
simply air for
breakfast,
lunch,
and dinner
Abercrombie + Fitch, Hollister
Must.be.thinner.
This skinny phenomena is eating us alive
Her ribcage is the only thing that keeps her posture.
shes confused about her image, allthough we all agree shes so beautiful.
With alcohol in her left hand,
She's dancing on the tables
Having a good time
[But no one knows what happens when she goes to powder her nose.]
Babe, she's the life of the party
She's a skeleton carnival

Author notes
Umm...Well i guess it was a mix of option 1+3.
I really hope you like it
This is my first time writing anything since...quite a while.

oh this was certainly an interesting read. It is so sad to see people with ED’s who get to the stage of being so painfully thin. I think you have captured it very well. Good luck in the contest.

Wow for not writing anything like this for quite a while its pretty good.
I could tell when i read this poem that there is a hint of honesty here in describing this type of situation.
Thats what I liked most about this poem, is its raw, honest, and a lot of passion went into this work. I loved the title also, it is a heart pounding title.
Well done and good luck in the contest.
