Suppose we should have been forewarned in 2005. Sudden weather disaster, a major city destroyed. The rules changed on us.
2008 was the clincher year. Flooding, tornadoes, fires. Then, the biggest market crash ever. The US was flattened by 2010.
Sitting in new refugee center set up by Canada, Mexico, wondering, will we come back?
Author notes
2008 has indeed been the worst year I can remember in a long long time for disasters. Wall street traders should be in jail right now, but instead they are sitting there laughing at us. The bastards.

Interesting conclusion. So accustomed to living 'high on the hog,' what would it be like for the entitlement generation to sit where no one cares what they want, and if they don't work, they starve? Little typo, "refugee centers" [add 's'].

Hmmm... great concept. I'm amazed at how much you expressed in 55 words! :-) Thanks for entering!

Thanks!
Wish I had lighter fare to offer, but the headlines of the day had me captivated.
