Sometimes
my sugar packs cavities
Nagging pain
Pulsating conscious
I hurried vacant ties
Windsor knotted souls
Silk tongues threaded
Sewn across my eyes
Dodging mud balls
To wallow in my own dirt
Only I seen the worth
Of my manhood
Now strength lathers
Filth rinsed
I scrub myself clean

hmm. this makes me think of wisdom finally accepted as valid, and trust in ones self too-stepping away from self destruction (sorta). Interesting. Congrats on your trophy.

This is powerful! The use of metaphor is skillful!
"Sometimes
my sugar packs cavities"
I just got over a bad tooth experience which makes your second line as relatable as the first.
"Now strength lathers
Filth rinsed"
Loved these lines! I got to the water... ~Sigh~
Thank you for this entry and I wish you the best in the challenge.
Much Love ♥
