Where have you been?
You swore you'd come around
Where have you been?
You were looking at cartoon house again
Paint in pastelle colors
Smoke and mirrors
All for the sake of being an entertainer
Where have you been?
I thought you said you'd come around
Where have you been?
I know where his body was found
The sequences
Glow in sweet heart elegances
Tell me is this the instences
That you swore by
That you held so tight
Where have you been?
I swore I'd come around
Where have you been?
I thought you hated me again
Abandoning mother
Now you see why I never bother
With trying to reach you while sober
Where have you been?
Why do I have to answer?
I live in this cartoon house
Because you left me with nothing else
Where have you been?
So whats your answer?
Don't ask me
Where have you been?

Words written well on a hard subject...people are forgotten too often...easier to walk away and not lok back for many...sad reality of truth for many...interesting and deeply felt...thank you for sharing.

this is just wonderful. truly gets into the readers mind and forces them to see the truth. life isnt fair.people abandon, are abandoned and ultimately bad things happen to the best of people.
