Rage and lust, folly of flesh,
Along with fear and pride.
Carnal theme of living death,
The curse is his abide.
He is wise in evil, simple in the good.
He mocks the One who made him.
Concerning the Holy, he is rude.
Falling short of glory from sin.
He is shaped by his love
For things not of heaven.
So he feeds his flesh thereof
With food of sin with leaven.
Yet he dares to make demands
With the Lord he resists.
“Let me in heaven!”, he commands,
Shaking haughty fists.

another good one
Sometimes our flesh temptation is hard to resist we need His grace and love to help us open up to him. It speaks to all our souls. I love this piece.

A great piece showing how one day all will proclaim Him God of the universe but some through clinced teeth. A reality for so many who want to live their way and then get angry with God for troubles and their destiny in hell.
