Pull me closer
Defend me from myself
Hold me tightly
Don’t let it get in

Support me, Help me
The suffering increases, slightly
My heart aches
And my body weakens


This is the solution
My one and only resort
This is my option
My last way out

This is the solution
Rip the chains away
And give me the life
That I’ve been loosing

I’m losing this game
I’m losing this blood
No rain can touch me
Not even in the midst of this flood

You’re the solution, my last good cause
You pull on the chains that constrain
Wrapped onto my soul
You are, you are the goal

This is the solution

This is my option
My last way out

This is the solution

You are not the solution that I need
No, but you’re the one I want so badly
I know this wont work
But still I chose the only thing I see

I let myself fall
And I give it my all
I gave you my best and
Still you seem very unimpressed

On the floor I lay, and as the solution walks by
He picked me up though he had no reply
I looked at him and gave a relieved sigh
My solution came, and I told my pain goodbye

    This is wonderful. (yes, I'm kinda stalking your poetry) I love the development of it, if that makes any sense. My other favorite from your older poems is the Snow White one. So passionate, so sad....
