Background/border - In loving Memory

This is an Ode to my tomcat Bram, who adopted us (yes, that's right!) about 14 years ago and died on October 1, 2008.

He was such a marvellous cat, very social to other cats and dogs, always in a good mood.

14 years ago he wandered around the house for a few months, very, very shy, never let us come close. Then one day I found him inside the house at the top of the stairs, he looked at me, walked down and turned his head before he disappeared through the cat door (?). Next day we were having an outside lunch and suddenly he walked to us, layed down on the grass, miaowed 'here I am' and never left again. That's why I say, he adopted us.

Last year he got severe kidney problems and last week we thought it was time to give him eternal rest.

May his soul rest in peace.

Bram was a beautiful cat, rest his little soul..I have a stray cat that has adopted me too, but won't stay in my house because of my four little dogs, they constantly bark at him, but everyday he comes for his dinner and puts up with their shouting

This is a lovely page in memory of Bram, your photo's make a nice border against the faded background of him

This is beautiful. I'm in tears just because of how much of a cat lover I am, and this is a beautiful tribute. I love how you made the background to fit with the new AP style--I just can't be bothered and learned how to make my old backgrounds work. Haha. This is beautiful work, and I wish you luck in the contest.

I'm sorry about your kitty Bram, but glad that you are sharing this wonderful memorial background with us. This is superbly done, and all the photos are excellent. I love the main one, and the one of him looking out of the window, with a halo of blue.

This is such a beautiful dedication to your little kitty car. Me and my family have over the years taken in almost every stray cat we saw, giving them a second chance.

You for sure get a big brownie point for adoring me with kitty photo's ^_^ and I am sure little Bram is chasing angel mouse up in kitty heaven!

Thanks for entering and best of luck!

Thanks for the comment Meroza. "Little" Bram you said? Know that when he was still healthy this cats weight was 8 kilo = 17.64 pounds. You couldn't lift him with one hand. LOL I miss him, he had such a nice character.

Our stray Casanova is about 6 kilo so I know what you mean ^_^ He is the first really big cat we've had in a long time. Missy and Tussi both are dwarfs.

I too miss some of the cats we've had while I grew up, most of all I miss my very first cat, Tiger. But I know he lived happely and he died with a smile on is catty face, and I am sure Bram had a little smile too.
