A wonderful background sis
I can almost hear the fog horns blowing, and it looks to me like the beginning of a beautiful sunny day...the border is great too, almost like an oil painting, and your photography is excellent by the way
Much love ~Lilac

Excellent work, love how you've done the middle! Beautiful pictures. Good luck in your contest

I definitely love the middle of your background here. It's soft and beautiful, and very serene just like the ocean for me. You did a wonderful job with this one. Good luck in the contest.

Nice pictures, love the border photo. Love the colours and I just love the sea. Where was this taken?

The background was taken in Nova Scotia, the boats photographed on the same trip, in Bass Harbor, Maine.
Thanks for the comment!

this is great sis! a wonderful photo. i like these new backgrounds. ships passing... water crashing on the rocks, are a few sounds you can hear when you look at this photo. it draws one in, like i am standing right there on the shore.

Very nice split on the intensely lit border dories, you have kept the sunlight coming from the right. The contrast is so great, you might try softening it, to see how that might work. Lovely background, soft and inviting. Text readability excellent. Particularly nice for a maritime or day spent paddling on the lake write.

Thanks. Softened the border bots a little with a layer color, but didn't want to go too far the other way. These dual background are the pits to figure out-the widths have to be just right! I wanted the background photo to show more water, but haven't had luck with it - just too hard to do.
Doing backgrounds can really give me fits - headaches, too! Like piecing a quilt when it's not cut right...

Oh wow, this really is amazing art work! I would never think that dueling the new layout could look this good! I love the photo in the midle, I am surounded by sea and I love it, this has a special calmness over it that I adore!
Thank you for taking the time to make this and to enter, best of luck!
