I am writing this get well card
Just to let you know
I think of you each night and day
Praying for you to get well
Hoping you will soon be okay
It's definitely no fun being sick
Get well soon Edna, get well quick
So keep that positive attitude
Breathe in that country air
And when your feeling down and blue
Remember that I care

i agree it no fun being sick. sometimes one needs to slow down and look at life. i think illness is trying to tell us something. I hope your friend gets better.
I having one of though times i am getting better at reading the signs to slow down.

-
Hey Sis!
I'm sure Edna loved your get well card..it's as good as (or better than) a Hallmark card (when you care enough to send the very best!).
I'm sure she loved the Thomas Kinkade painting, too!
Best Wishes for you in this contest! I hope Edna gets some relief from the pain in her ankle soon!
Love Ya!
♥ Maureen

Dear Molly,
To say the queen is deeply touched
would be an understatement
fir, just like you, she suffers too
from pains without abatement.
Although her heart's more stable now
the pain that seems to rankle
her constantly is the injury
she did to her right ankle.
Amongst the poems I've printed out
to stand upon the shelf,
none is more rated or appreciated
when you're so ill yourself.
Edna is indeed touched by the beauty of your words and the picture you have chosen to accompany them.
Thankyou, dear daughter and best of luck in the voting.
Applause, love and hugs, XXX Hugh (R.) Da.

Kind wishes
are like bread on the water, they come back ten-fold.
"And when you're feeling down and blue
Remember that I care"
We must remember that when we are feeling lonely, it is only a feeling, and dozens or even hundreds of people are holding us in their hearts. This is a lovely poem of compassion and encouragement. Well done Susan, and good luck!
