Cobwebs of the Mind

Cobwebs of the mind
Rusted hinges of the skull
Toys in the attic

Rattle my Cage,
is the Beast Alive?

Throw him some Meat,
for he is Hungry!
Food for thought.

Water of Life,
for he is Thirsty!

He has been forgotten
and left alone
to ponder in induced egocentricity,
like a mad scientist
who can’t find the door out,
and eventually no longer looks.

i learned a long time ago, choose your judges well, and do not cast x before y ...
