I offer my sword,
unto my Lord,
as a sacred weapon,
to reap and cleanse.
A simple tool,
wielded by humble hand,
to cast aside
the unholy and unjust,
who stand in defiance,
blighting the glory
of our faith and cause.
Lord, hear my prayer,
uplift my rallying call,
to cleanse this land,
with the blood of tainted.

I think this is exactly what I ws looking for in the contest. There is a certain amount of devotion this knight feels for his charge, I find awe-inspiring.
Most excellent work, thank you so much for entering, and best wishes to you,

Thank you. I think a lot of the time, whether the cause or the faction be considered 'good' or 'evil', I think that most Knights had to have a strong devotion, almost bordering on extremism, it was almost a pre-requisite.

Impressive.

Thank you. Didn't want it to be the usual chivalrous angle.
