Taken, regurgitating
same old chiming pleas,
a mastermind ploy,
regain token control,
riding like a stuntman,
on the back of a teardrop.
What world would it be?
If I realize before deeds,
that the nova exploding,
centre of my thought,
was mine to control
and not dissolve in its blast.

I wonder why it is we play mind games with our own minds? We know the answers, what choices would suit us best but we choose to do the other, even with consequences waiting around the bend. I love the thought of this work poet. Thank you for this entry. You did well with the prompt. I wish you the best in this challenge.
Much Love & Respect ♥

Thank you. I have no idea why we do it, yet we can tend to get stuck in it and never work our way out.
