She plays to make the weather warm,
as the clouds run away to hide
To gently feed the trees that grow,
and rest there at her side
They have grown a harp for her,
to push the cooling breeze
She calmly sits and plays for days,
making waves upon the seas
The Autumn harvest calls to her,
to ripen all its goods
She plays to shine the moon at night,
tickling branches in the woods
Some music brings the driving rain,
for life to drink it in
Snowflakes dance to meet the ground,
to let the drifts begin
Her playing seems to start the cry,
of woeful coyote howls
The huge round eyes and soothing hoot,
she has given to the owls
Strumming there for all of life,
to set our souls so free
The trees have given her a name,
they call her Harmony
She’s played for a millennia,
she has taken nothing in return
She plays to bring her people hope,
she plays so we may learn
