Sound advice
is not always easily given,
or taken for that matter.
But it is the thought that counts.
It is the thought
that shows how much
someone really cares about you.
Empty words can come from
anyone.
But words of wisdom
are few and far in between.
You may think
that you aren't
listening,
but i see
that you remembered
to buckle your seatbelt.

ill put in for the father postion. im always trying to help my friends when they are in a tough spot i.e. my buddy at work had no hours scheduled this week at work, so i gave him one of my shifts. ill take the responsibility because im always about making people feel better and smile. also just talking is a great learning tool. you might not realize it, but everytime you talk to someone, you learn something.

Beautiful write, loved the ending so much and ending is my favorite part in any poem. I'd be so glad to call you part of my family, but I don't think 'Father' position would be suitable since we are same age. You can be 'Brother' or 'Friend' And i'd be honored.
