How amazing are we
To be born on land
To one day look up
See the birds flying there
Say to one another
“We can do that”
Another reply
“But we have no wings”
Through steel and sweat
Blood and tears
We rise only to fall again
Again and again we try
Until that very special day
When our wings allow us to soar
Over time things change
Easier, it becomes, to soar high
Among the clouds we walk
Where the birds fly
To see as the eagle does
To see the land below
How amazing are we
