As boats bob gently to softly tuned tides
Majestic buildings hold history's keys
Sleepy seaside town lulls to ocean's breeze
A slice of yesteryear this scene is seized
As dreams of past glories whisper with pride
Sleepy seaside town lulls to ocean's breeze
As boats bob gently to softly tuned tides.

what is the town? ah the triolet, a nifty little form, works well with any topic of poetry i think, either light and smiling or dark and brooding and anything in between.

nice. The imagery is done so well that I can actually feel the waves on the ocean.

Ahhh Gaylene... a serene picture you paint with gentle words and soft images... I think you've captured this form and its possibilities in a wonderful poem... Excellent write.
