To Give Grey A Colour

Shuddering melodies fill my heart
As the world is coloured a shade of grey
Fulfilling destiny to the letter
Whilst ice covers this lake once again
My beautiful friend stay with me
And hear the notes once again
For this world is stone and our hearts muscle
Meaningless elements combined
Creating grotesque features
And yet this piano plays
Of such beauty and magnificence
No thought for the death of the world
Or the suffering of others
Whilst these notes slide down my throat
To set my heart ablaze
Keeping this soul of mine healthy
As I take your hand and bow
For we shall dance amongst the stone
And fashion clothing fit for kings
Whilst the world grows old and the stone remains
We'll continue on our way
Kicking our feet in a beautiful rhythm
Whilst our hearts beat loudly and our eyes are alive
For this piano of mine keeps me alive
As my eyes begin turning grey
For not all medication can last forever
As the wood slowly crumbles
My soul will die for you have left
And there are no notes left to nestle with my heart
Forgive me for the time I took from you
So that I could enjoy this world with colour
Understand my reasoning, you were my life
The minerals that coursed through my veins
Whilst my mind slowly died
Notes forever carved into my memory
For there is no other medication
Such as the soothing melodies you knew

Vitamins For The Soul

I turned vitamins into medication and thus made the piano a medication. A bit weird I know

Haha...a bit wierd, yes, but I like it. Music is medicine for the soul. Just a note: I gave you a title prompt, you were supposed to use it as the title of your poem. Don't worry, it doesn't bother me
