Big Ben of London Town

From the waters deep,

In my dingy boat I creep.

Fishing and watching the night away.

The night brings shadows near.

  With Big Ben mellow gongs.

The bridge echoes his song till break of day.

From here I sit and watch,

  While listening to the clock.

Lovers kiss, others with their wares they cry.

This has been the sight to see,

Since there was you and me.

Lovers on the bridge, and Big Ben's sighs

How wonderful to visit London. I have always wanted to go to England, but never made it. You used the word dingy, which brings back memories. My Mother used to talk about the little dingy my Dad had whe n they lived on the Island. It was a small piece of land that jutted out into Lake Erie, we used to tease her about marrying my Dad for his dingy. Katie
