Lost Music

I’m so wound up,
all tight inside,
my heads compressed,
and filled with time,
time I wasted,
time I lost,
and time that just
snuck by.
My eyes are closed
Where am I going?
what have I done?
stuck in this glass cage
melted to the floor,
wondering  why
why my family?
why my life?
in the dark
in the night
each wasted moment
rings back through the void
a long lost chime
in the symphony
of life.
