Not a poem

Oh, I want to hate you,
but I don't know how
I want to destroy you
but I can't bring my hands
above my head.
All I can do is
ache, and ache, and ache,
disown myself
and then shudder
at re-entry.

Supposed to be working on a response paper for a short story we read in creative writing. How does one write an analytical paper for creative writing? Writers' block...ugh...
