In My New Life

To be born again
and have the chance to live different,
live a life I want.
What would that look like?

I would live a life,
my new life,
free from worries,
hate and discrimination

In my new life
I would be handicap free
and free from defects

The world
shall see with respect
I shall be loved by all.

In this new life,
things will be different
that is for certain.

For in this life,
I will no longer be me,
I get the chance to be something else.

Thus, when this life is done,
I get to start my new life,
my life on the easy track
for this one has been too harsh.

In my new life,
I see myself in the arms
of someone that loves me for me.

No longer needing
to impress those around me,
with all that I have done.

All I need to do is be me,
and all shall love me
as I'm a little kitten.
