Jack's Back



Here in Jacks world of horror:
Halloween three, Jack
and his pediments of
Ireland hang around necks.

Jack Lantern like a pedantic
talisman hangs neatly on a
silver chain as a silver smooth
silver shamrock disproportion.

Everybody loves Jack
They love the way
His head works
He's silky smooth.

Orange head thinks
about pumpkin pleasures
with teeth like seeds
and blood flesh treasures.

Happy Jack combs his
stickly girls roots
As she gazes into
his black lined eyes.

Hand in hand Jack
and Jacks girl
Weaved there way up
October's calendar.

For years he'd hang
around silver sermons
Until he realised his
place on the tree of life.





Author notes

Jack could be the next extension of Adam because of the stories of Jack and the tree. The silver link is related to the trappings of the devil, a deed attributed to Jack O' Lantern. His symbolism represents many relevant themes for 2008. The cashless society, Emo eye's and homelessness. I think they should close all banks and then open a Jack O'Lantern where everyone can deposit the money.

    very imaginative; I really liked the stanza about him combing his girlfriend's hair and that last one is also cool, plus your author's notes about where to be deposting our money is not a bad suggestion.
