Dalliance

Each day is like the day before
I sit around the house.
I scurry here, I scurry there
like some wind up mouse.

I feel I have no control
someone else pulls all the strings.
It’s time I got out of this rut;
it’s time to spread my wings.

I’m tired of just waiting
to find a source of joy.
I think I’ll go on Craigslist
and get myself a boy-toy!

    Sounds a lot like my life.......I can relate to this one real good. "I'm tired of just waiting for a source of joy. I think I'll go on Craigslist to get myself a boy-toy!" only I went to Craigslist to find a place to live and have peace and quite. No time for a boy toy......not yet....busy working two jobs.....LOL!! GOOD in the contest.
