life is worth living to the fullest extent of our being...

Missing image
legend adorns
itself
full-bodied costume, worn as
evidence from forces unseen

intertwined
symbolism, in technicolor

well-rounded
opaque colored with frayed edges
ribbon-rouge and irrefutable
tempting fresco of futile fame
hindsightful refurbish of tempera's success

let us look to those
infectious ones afore us
view their contributions
in eyes that have more vision than sight
nestled warmly within hope's bosom
granted as gift from dreamers

tattered spirits
often hold longevity's secret

timed and tested, where faith
hesitates with watchful heart
earning longest stay

facts carry weight
unleashed upon brisk air of thought's whim
lessons
learned
experience intact
society yearns for all of it all
tipping scales of selfish favor

eventually we let go
x-factor
tells the other why
even if naught
nature still evolves
transparently so

open-mindedness is now
friendly, and fool proof

outstretched hands (above my head)
understand this journey
repetition circles 'round and 'round

because we live
encouraging love
insistent on happiness
needing, within our core, peace
gravitating toward that which is highest

Congratulations on the silver. I've found that is much easier to hold on to what is most precious to us if your arms are outstretched and your heart and mind is open. It seems as though you may have the same philosophy.

    Sincerely,
    Leo Long
ps. Has anyone told you how beautiful you are today?

    Congratulations Renee,

A complex rendition.. That makes me feel a little spiny after reading...lol

I loved it because it makes you think. creating a stretching of the imagination.. I think girls are better at abstractions then men.. Perhaps because I could never understand either... Wink

    Congrats again my friend,
    Den

Thank you for awarding the Silver Cup to me dear sister. I am more than honored because I was one of those who did not carry out all the requests of the contest. I apologize for that oversight! I must have gotten distracted because I did read your rules.

      "Taken literally, Namasté means "I bow to you". The word is derived from Sanskrit;

(namas): to bow, obeisance, reverential salutation, and (te): "to you".

When spoken to another person, it is commonly accompanied by a slight bow made with hands pressed together, palms touching and fingers pointed upwards, in front of the chest. The gesture can also be performed wordlessly and carry the same meaning."

      Thanks Again!

Much Love & Resepct Always ♥

What a wonderful display of thoughts, imagery, wisdom, vocabulary and poetry this is. This is indeed life in all its colours, my friend. The stanza I've quoted and the last one really spoke to me. Beautiful, soulful poetry indeed!

Wow did you say a mouthful! I especially loved: "in eyes that have more vision than sight
    nestled warmly within hope's bosom
granted as gift from dreamers"..it felt like something
you penned as a 'silent' nod to me! great job my friend!
