When you look in my eyes, what do you see?
Can you see the hurt, the way it "has to be?"
Can you see what you've done, the pain you've put me through?
Can you see us holding hands, that picture of us two,
That picture that's been burned eternally into my mind, that picture of us together,
I wish it could be that way, I wish it would've lasted forever.
When you look in my eyes, do you see me?
Or do you see the broken down girl, because of how it "has to be?"
