Crimson Tide

sometimes when we're feeling down
we show off an all mighty frown
this is true for some i know
but others have a different show

the show is usually very private
very few outsiders see
for its 18 rated; scary guts
(not many can face it) you see

it's so very private few know
its existance
though if invited you should go
but only with no persistance

go only with an open mind
aware of scary thing's you'll find
consider the invite a privilage
and
when you go,
.try to understand.

understanding is the key
the certain key to misery
for only those within
the secret circle
know the secrets,
know the show

this doesn't stop, however,
you
from understanding, as you must do
if you are ever to be informed of
"scheduled performances"
once you're involved, you must never leave
until the show is cancelled
or thus risking the fate of the cast
not to mention
the lead.

we call the show the crimson tide
correct in colour
correct in motion
there are of course no drugs involved
(yet)
you need no potion to see the colour,
feel th e motion

the show is one you'll sure remember
especially if you're a member
the unsettling feeling the tide instills
sometimes makes you lose the will
but it's ok, you know
from before
you know from the pain
that soon the tide will come again
next time it will come stronger
aiding your hate, aiding your anger
then the most exciting part
the rolling motion of the tide
rising up and pushing through
sometimes only known to you
you help it up you help it out
and now is the most spectacular bit!

intense emotion
strength of character (?)
controversial issues
the rolling tide
you feel it all over

deeper and deeper and deeper you dig
trying to find the hidden meaning
delving down into your soul
trying your hardest to make sense of this
amazing show

and then the tide crashes into the rocks
you stop surfing the crimson tide
and you float on the guilt, the pain, the stupidity
why?
why did you come to see this show?
I warned you of the rating
the guts
the pain
the scary things you'd find
and .the understanding.
