Low the water's rising,
left us no place to hide,
I lie beneth his heartbeat,
all curled up by his side.
"Forever shall demish,
but we'll eturnal climb."
his words so formed a blancket,
that held me for a time.
Yet quickly waters rising,
awake I feel him stir.
"I would never leave you,
death even if it were."
"Take me if you must,"
He softly pleas to me.
"I'll glide within this water,
alone just you and me."
My eye begins to wonder,
and wet their falls a tear,
"I would never ask it,
truley though my dear."
The water rushed quickly,
envolping me in chill.
My bare skin left in shivers,
"My love I hold you still."
His body warm against me,
yet I must turn away.
in him I speak my last words,
"Within your heart I'll stay."
