In the height of a raging storm
I cast a spell and love was born
The lightning flashed with silver light
Upon the woman most revealing sight
The potion was brewed with magic dreams
To capture her heart and other things
She came to me on like a spinning wind
Alas perhaps some think it is a sin
But with the spell cast I start the fire
To say I am sorry would make me a liar

A chant to capture the most alluring of catches. Of course, I have to like this, the title says so

Love the flow and overall feeling.
Thank you for entering and good luck.

The tone and the general idea of the poem is quite something.Although I must say :
' Upon the woman most revealing sight' ? I don't know..something seems remiss, there.Just an opinion.
Good luck with the contest! -

Love Potion Number 9. That's what I thought of, going back in the history of love potions to the 60s! Your piece carries on very well in this tradition of potions that create love.
Like the rhymes.

A fine spell that carries potent powers...
Aye, all the love groups here at AP have caught fire and the faerie groups are having celebrations!
And all because of YOU and your spells and spinning wind, fine Sir Poet Knight!
