I hate you with the fury of engulfing flames
Rising higher and tickling my stomach with pain
Bubbling my heart into a raging boil
Tattooing my insides with a bloody stain
Destroying my entire self into spoil
My blood pumping through my veins
Hot as a red coal on the grill
Yet, I love you still
How could I possibly love you this much?
A love that washes my stomach with rain
And leaves my heart struggling in turmoil
That heals the tattoo to a scar of strain
That makes my insides curl into a coil
My blood rushing to my brain
You break me with this kiss
You kill me with this touch
...
I hate how I love you
