Asymmetrical Affection

Corners collect
with rummaged ruins
salvaging times
hard forgotten

too close to the heart
beats smoldering burns
with walls emerging
sky scraped in forgiveness

now spiraling smoke
scatters dust over curves
that once laid sweet
in satin

so regrets bellow
to heaven’s high
beckoning fingers to curl
as frayed convenience
is disposed
from new contentment

these rose colored stains
smudge heavy;
smearing my window’s pane,

making it hard to see a sunrise
when loves colored
with deception~

Amen!!! Very well spoken piece of pain and heartbreak penned within these lines. The deception that feeds upon each remnant of heart, mind, and soul ... Something that I can more than just feel ... Great write! Thank you for your entry & Best wishes in the contest!

Wow, such deep feelings within the heart of deception. It can hurt, when deception rears its ugly head. Enjoyable read.
