Beowulf vs.Indiana Jones
From the day your born till the day you die you have a hero someone who you think is invincible. Some hero's are real and some hero's are fake , your hero may be a family member, a neighbor, or even Superman. My hero is my Grandpa in my eyes he could take on any danger you could throw at him. However this paper is not about him its about two men who you probably wouldn't think are epic hero's.
Let me introduce you to Beowulf and Indiana Jones they both have epic hero traits but only one of them is a real epic hero.
In order to be an epic hero you must have certain hero like traits.
The first one is you have to be a male, this is because males have always been known as strong individuals who are strong and fearless, women are to but men get the glory, so they both got that one.
You also need to have a high social status, Beowulf has a pretty high social status he is king of the Geets, and a well loved leader of his people. Indiana Jones, is a well known architect, and professor, who is known by people all over the world .
So far it seems like there is no difference but there is, because you have to be physically strong, Beowulf battles with an awful monster named Grendel, because he is terrorizing people and eating men in the mead hall. So Beowulf fights disgusting Grendel and rips his arm right out of the socket.
