    The background on this is quite beautful but a bit distracting. The poem is beautifully done. I like the sentiments, they do touch the heart. A lovely piece indeed.

    thats really pretty. i thought the repetition was really overdone. i think honestly i would have considered you for HM but you've already won so many with this!!! anyway it was beautiful but a little over the top. so thanks for the entry. it was a good read

    Wow this is so mystical. That definitely was the first thing that came to mind when I read this. I love your use of imagery. My favorite lines were:

    "They cannot feel, feel you and me
    They can only feel, feel the wind you see"

    There was a sort of rhythm to those lines that made them really catchy and they just stood out.

    I see you used repetition to drive the point of your poem home. I suppose I'm not really one for repetition though. That was really the only part in this poem that caught me up.

    But otherwise, I really liked this piece. Great write and good luck in the contest!

It is your contest and you are judging for what you like, as it should be and the authors are writing what they like, as it should be.

    This is a very well written piece, though the flow was rather choppy. The over-use of ,'s made for several awkward pauses where there shouldn't have been some. I'd recommend dropping a lot of the ,'s that are in the middle of lines -- they aren't needed and really throw off the flow. The rhyme scheme was rather sing-song and I felt like it detracted from the piece a bit as well.

    The ending is wonderful. The picture as well as the poem reminds me of a movie called "Lady Hawk". If you've seen it you know what I'm talking about and if you haven't seen it, please do.
