Humor changes from country to country.
The speedofthedelivery, or, the pacing of
the punchline. Humor
is about waiting for the release,
or surprising you before you're ready.
But each people group
feels humor
differently.
Which makes me wonder:
are any of us "in on the joke"?
Or does childhood condition us
to chuckle appropriately?
For that matter, what of love?
Does each country experience love
differently? What changes, the speedofthedelivery,
the pacing of the punchline?
Does childhood condition us?
Which makes me wonder:
are any of us "in on the joke"?

Title contest: Sense of Humor
This is probably the most depressing poem ever written about "sense of humor," haha, sorry.

LOL, I must giggle at your take on the subject, but you are quite right. The question to also ask is.. are we ourselves the joke? I really liked your write, it shows great intelligence and is very thoughtful of a subject which is thought to be all fun and joking around.
I like it, it is really good!
