My Generation

Heyward!Into the tiring labyrinth
The twisted knur of youth
With your uncoiled cradle swinging
Give laconic means to the dilatory panacea
Interned in this good earth for so long
But do not hold your twisted circle too tight
Like the viragio to her advocate
And do not let the hinges of your swinging spar rust
Or creak endlessly into your misty night-
Lest the interminable labyrinth twists at its cradle fixture
And the Lammas, your autumn, be lost from sight

I have always loved the word "labyrinth" as it applies to so many aspects of life. This was a cleverly written poem with warnings of dire circumstances. Bravo
