when you left i lost a part of me
as i watch you go i can't beleive you did this
never knowing if i am going to see you again
kills me inside
one call a month is not enough
lying in bed thinking and worrying about you
but i am proud of you
you know what you are doing for our country
you will have the respect of a country
when you return you will be greeted with hugs and kisses
but please stay alive
for i fear i will not be able to live without your love
you are my inspiration
my hope
the reason i get up in the morning
i will greet you when you return
just remember i am proud of you
i love you
please stay alive

So sad; I cannot imagine the worry and fear that the partner / mother / relative of a soldier goes through particularly when they are in a wartorn area. And I often think that those related to the soldier in question are often as brave as the soldiers themselves

Aw the love and the missing is so strong
All we can ask for is their safe return
Best wishes
