All the colors have turned gray
Sense of feeling has gone away
The only shade that I can see
the color red as it leaves me
I can no longer feel your love
Walking out gave me the shove
I just can not bear the pain
Knowing you'll not love me again
My world ends like shattering glass
The multitude of pieces is too vast
To ever be mended back to whole
Hurting you is certainly not my goal
My world is broken and comes to an end
Let us hope in death I will transcend.

Wonderful take on the prompt. It is most excellent one what you have done. It is true that one world may end but so does the other. It's not that one ends and the other stays alive loving all the more. Each world is broken apart when love is ended. A sad notion that I learned all too real. Thank you for the poem.
