I can not stop these visions in my head
I know you were with her last night
You lay here now fast asleep
A smile plastered on your face
All I can think of is you with her
When I close my eyes the vision is vivid
You and her entwined in each others arms
I can not sleep now my dreams carry me away
How can you lay there so serene
While these visions keep dancing in my head

Powerful imagery, and such a sad tale. It happens too often and that betrayal stays with us forever when it happens to us. Wonderfully worded.

Yet the saddest thing is , when one cheats on the other and think they have no clue, how badly the other is shook when trying to come to grips with it and deside to stay or go. Thank you for hosting this contest.
