With eyes full of tender love
She beckons with the gentleness of a dove
I come with arms open wide
Nothing to hide the love I have inside
I am bare without shame
For my character she does not defame
I wrap my body around her skin
She calls me to enter in
I climb inside her soul
And relinquish all control
For a moment we are one
My devotion she has won
I let go of my tender squeeze
As release her back to the breeze
My arms empty and alone
With a coldness that chills to the bone
She has gone as fast as she came
For she is wild, not tame
Her heart, he stole
By opening his soul
Releasing her, to fly
Saying greed's painful goodbye
Didn't he know
She is no ones to let go
Unconditional love lives by free will
Far beyond an earthly thrill
Is never attained
Bound in chains
Acceptance echoed in his voice
Therefor, she returned, by choice
Just as the seasons change
The spirit can't be tamed
Both must step aside
From all selfish pride
Have faith and let fate take play
This is how we live with love, every day

"Didn't he know
She is no ones to let go"
PERFECT; that summed it all up, and usually you hear of a MAN being too wild to tame, it's great to hear it about a woman - and a very inspiring work it was too!

had a mirror feel to me, and i enjoyed it. It reads differently which i like because i get sick of the same old styles. great job here
