Her Rainbow

Her Rainbow
Red is my blood, that proves I’m here
Orange is the smile, you unknowingly make me wear
Yellow is the ambrosia, that lights my eyes up
Green are my eyes, with which I invite you in
Blue were the thoughts, that you vanished away
Indigo is the hope of joining you someplace
Violet is my heart, a gift that I make.

Author notes

This is a twist of a good friend of mine's poem....hers is sad, whilst mine is a reflection of how she makes me feel....scraped the last line...can not really twist anything from it.

I thought I would go back and read some of your old poems, I came across this one, and must remind you again, how much I love it!

I love how you changed my sad words and twisted them to *up lifting* ones
