I see I'm not the only one who writes Spiritual Haiku/Senryu...This is a good one & of that trophy! Love that Ark depiction! You nailed the prompt clearly with this write!

Ah, thank you, Sis! Joanne, thelordreigns, is the master of haiku and senyru; and, having known her for several years now and sharing duties at Truth Seekers and Speakers, I have become enthused about learning to say a lot in so few words. I think I'm getting there, but I can see I still have a ways to go.
If you like the ark, take it for your own. I love it!

Twisting the law, hallucinating illegal jurisdiction and evading justice where no human eye sees, is the core business of those allowed onto the podium of the corrupt. The stage now full of confidence that arrogantly ignores all that is related to the soothing essence of our souls - it will burn and the wisps of smoke rising from the fire will be scattered all over the void. Congrats with the award.

Thank you so much, KayJay, for the encouragement. The haiku and senyru are forms I'm attempting to master, for I am a bit more accustomed to being much wordier. LOL! Nevertheless and as you say, rule breakers tend to reveal themselves loud and clear, yet they think they are being so shrewed. If we listen carefully and watch observantly, we can pick them out of a crowd and know whom we should avoid.

Indeed they do that for themselves and indeed, liars are often believed and those who speak truth rarely have proof and are discredited. It serves as sods law in all dimensions.

Thank you so much, Rose, both for the kind words and for finding "Know Them" worthy of the bronze! As you succinctly pointed out, truth speakers must rely on one or more witnesses, as did our Lord Jesus. Sadly, those are not often around; or, if they are, they fear speaking up. Our world is falling apart and the wicked outnumber us greatly. Praise the Lord, while we are small in number, our power in the Lord more than makes up the difference.

Oh, my darling brother, Brian! It is sooo good to see you, too! Like you, I am seldom online for more than long enough to check email and messages or, as of late, to write a veeeeery short poem. LOL! As you know, there has been so much going on in my life, unfortunately a lot of negatives: Satan will not be satisfied until I am dead. But! We know that God will make that decision and in His perfect timing. Praise the Lord!
I had not thought of it, but you might well be right: the rule makers often do break their own rules, so it puts them in the same category of liars, etc. This poem was inspired by a lot going on here where I live in subsidized housing. I hope to put together an article about it, for it affects so many in the elder demographics: some may well even get put on the streets. Anyway, when I do, I shall post it to our Truth Seekers and Speakers group over at Yahoo.

The lies are so big it amazes me that the world believes them. It's like there is a herd of elephants in the room and all around deny they are there.

Thank you so much for the encouragment! I hope I'm learning the short forms from the master herself: YOU! As you say, it is sooo sad that not only are the lies incredibly big but that those who believe them make such huge numbers. I love the metaphor you used: a herd of elephants! Perfect.
