Come to me and let me be your
resting place, your sanctuary
Just lay your head upon my breast
And let me hold you while you rest
I'll feed you grapes and pour you wine
And in that moment you'll be mine...
I'll lay beside you through the night
And watch you sleep by candle light
And should you wake I will be there
I'll hold you close and stroke your hair
We'll have no need for space or time
And in that moment you'll be mine...
When morning sun ignites its flame
I'll call you softly by your name
Then gently whisper in your ear
And all but us will disappear
This is a dream of my design
And in that moment you'll be mine
Please tell me what you think

I was yours throughout my reading of this beautiful poem. I'm off now - to find a woman who'll write words such as these for me - forever.

I was disqualified because I didnt know the form. I personally feel that the "form" has little to do with it because I know shit about form. But hey, thats just me. Thanks for the lovely word. xxx

I love this beautiful romantic poem ...
It says all a love poem should say:
I want to be with you, protect you, feed you, cradle you, sooth you, hold you forever in my ever want.

And it rhymes so seamlessly.
