We can all choose to live for something or die for nothing
Show you can cope well or else they'll throw you into hell
Life thrives in gardens while madmen go about their drunken rage
It's in the reflection of past times that we find
the strength to carry on
Don't allow prophets of death to conquer our world
Resist temptation before you are dammed to decadence
Oh angry I've been when cocaine took away my caravan
Life's regrets fade away with each passing sunset
Bright lights shine all around as wayward people ignore the decline
Swords of men will go forth to forget ones poverty
Impossible tasks can sometimes marry procrastination to your brain
If only your absence was just science fiction
Immature parasites you cannot duly rely on for assurance
A sketch in public galleries reflects a past you can all wonder at
Love comes down to a moment of chemistry between two individuals
A photo opportunity awaits her at every turn she makes
Give me no real reason to treat you any different than you deserve
Climb up the ladder of adversity and turn your tragedy around
I'd hate to look you in the eye and see a mountain of pain
Be just one with Christ and fast track your way to success
Take whatever you can into your mind to find your way
So few groove to what is new they miss the whole view
Her heavy lips mate together like biscuits and cream
Turkish delights lavished selfishly to relinquish your sexy touch
Take sides with the girl on every issue as she will always be right
Pledge your life to a better you and don't compare
Echoes of home spoken by the ring of snow covered mountains
To innocent child I can offer nothing but fear
Strong winds dragged me into the darkness of his world
For there darkness lurked in the corridors of power
Violent convulsions so contort and twist her body into deaths curl
Don't let others go through your mistakes
Snorting cocaine gave me a sense that everything would be alright
Misinformation taught me to form differing views to that of mama
A road less travelled is a destination not yet reached
Give your labour to others who are less able
Live just right and you will win the race
You tried to scream but only silence flourished
Glitter coloured my true world through every fragility
Dead and living friends I drew from unchallenged

Wow, you really put forth some social outrage in your poetry.
Thanks for entering. -
wonderful! the imagery is very nice and compliments the poem well. The begining gives you some options on how to live, then as it goes down the line, it further ties in with you, and a life you lead. Those are my thoughts =)
