memory lane

today i took a stroll down memory lane
and honestly i cant complain
what i thought i couldnt endure
was just a small detour

life takes turns you cant expect
turns that can have the greatest effect
all you can do is learn
and gain all the knowledge you can earn

this little stroll has been interesting
many thoughts to each other, contesting
through the hard times and turmoil
and all the times my emotions bagan to boil
i cant help but to be thankful
for a life so suspenseful

it has taught me so much
so much i cant even begin to disguss
all this knowledge i now contain
is hard to ascertain

i thought things would never be good again
and that race i would never win
but things made a turn for the best
good will follow, to which i can attest

any one going through hard times
please just keep in mind
the grass IS greener on the other side
and in true friends you can confide
